Who are we?

Jerusalem Cemetery is a promoter specialized in the sale of funeral plots in Israel.

Our mission: to make accessible to the Jewish community all over the world the acquisition of a funeral plot in Jerusalem.

Following an increase in demand and a shortage of places in the Holy City, we are allowing families who so desire to acquire a funeral plot in Jerusalem. As part of this acquisition, we take care of all legal verifications and issue you a notarial document when purchasing the funeral plot (acquisition contract issued by the Hevra Kadisha).

An initiative approved by the City of Jerusalem and the Hevra Kadisha

While the demand for the purchase of plots in the cemeteries of Jerusalem is constantly growing and the cemeteries are saturated, our Hevra kadisha in agreement with the Jerusalem City Hall, has obtained in exclusivity several plots at Guivat Shaul and Mount of Olives (Har Hazeitim) cemeteries

It is in this context that we propose to you today the acquisition of a funerary plot in the holy city:

I would like to be contacted

First, we will ask you to provide us with identification. This will establish the shtar kever (funeral plot purchase contract) including the allocation of your plot. We will send you the shtar kever for signature which will then be transferred to our law firm for notarized certification by Master Nadler or one of his collaborators. You will then have to pay the balance to validate the purchase of the plot. From receipt of funds, you will receive the Shtar kever countersigned with its notarized certification as well as your registration in Taba (registry of ownership of funeral plots)

Cemetery Jerusalem does not deal with the transportation of a deceased or an exhumation. However, you will find in your file a list of all the service providers, according to your city, who will be able to carry out the funeral transport to the cemetery of Guivat Shaul and proceed to the burial in compliance with the Jewish law.

We put at your disposal the contractor of the cemetery with negotiated rates.

The price of the funeral plot includes the ownership of the grant for ever. Each plot can accommodate up to 4 people.

Once the purchase of the plot made, you will receive the Shtar Kever (contract of purchase of the concession) and its notarized certification as well as a copy of the Taba (register of ownership of the funeral plots)

The funerary plots that we propose to you have no duration in time. It belongs to you forever.

If you are abroad, you will have to send us the documents by international shipment with mandatory tracking to the address given in your file.
